Dems Abroad U.K. plans major 'Tax Day' for October

The Democrats Abroad U.K. has unveiled plans for what it says will be its first-ever "Tax Day," set to take place on the first Saturday in the month of October, and says it's lined up a number of well-known American tax and wealth experts to participate.

Dems Abroad to mark int’l tax filing day with Congress ‘CallStorm’

The Democrats Abroad, which represents members of the U.S. Democratic Party who are resident overseas, is planning to mark International Tax Filing Day with a “CallStorm,” which is basically an event that looks to involve expat Democrats in calling up their Congressional representatives’ offices and voicing their concerns over key issues affecting expat Americans – in this case, the need to move to a residence-based tax regime.
